Biography
Nicola Brovelli is born in Busto Arsizio (Va) in 1986: he gets the cello diploma as a private student at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milan in 2007, year in which he starts to study the baroque cello in Gaetano Nasillo’s classroom, where he takes the degrees in June 2011 with the highest marks and with honors. He performed in Italy, France, England, Holland, Belgium, Croatia, Latvia, Russia and Kuwait, participating in important festivals, such as Estate Fiesolana, Ravenna Festival, Serate Musicali, Echi Lontani, Regie Sinfonie, MITO Settembre Musica, Festival della Valle d’Itria, Amici della Musica di Firenze, Concerti della Wigmore Hall, Festival Organistico Olandese, Festival di Korcula, Varazdinske Barokne Večeri, Festival d’Ambronay. He recorded for Concerto Classicas, Brilliant, Dynamic, Sony, Tactus, Glossa, Arcana and CPO.
